News Section Type The News section creates each article with a Title and Summary on the main page with a link to the rest of the article on a separate page. Here is an example of how the News section can appear on the site.  STEP 1 Click on the section under which the News section will appear. Click on Add a Child Section. Enter a Title for the News section. Select the News radio button. Click on  STEP 2 Click on for the new section title.  STEP 3 Fill in Title and Introduction  STEP 4 Click on Display Settings under Configuration. Enter the Number of Summary Items (articles in this case). Click on  STEP 5 Click on the red button for the Current Section. It will change to green, turning on the section so it can be viewed on the site.  STEP 6 Each News article is added as an item. Click on  STEP 7 Fill in the fields. Add description or attachments if desired. Click on  STEP 8 Clicking on the red button will change it to green, turning on the item so it can be viewed on the site.  |
