Event (Calendar) The Event Calendar section type creates a list of events using items. In view mode the title of an event can be selected, opening a new page with more information. If a highlighted date is selected on the calendar all of the events for that day will be displayed. Here is an example of an Event Calendar on a site. STEP 1 Click on the section under which the new section will appear. Click on Add a Child Section. Enter a Title for the new section. Select the Event radio button. Click on STEP 2 Click on for the new section title. ![]() STEP 3 Fill in Title and Introduction ![]() STEP 4 Click on Display Settings under Configuration. Enter the Number of Summary Items (events in this case). Check Display Calendar Click on ![]() STEP 5 Click on the red button for the Current Section. It will change to green, turning on the section so it can be viewed on the site. ![]() STEP 6 Each entry on an Event Calendar is added as an item. Click on ![]() STEP 7 Fill in the Event Title and the Date and Time information. Add description or attachments if desired. Click on ![]() STEP 8 Click on the red button for each item. It will change to green, turning on the item so it can be viewed on the site. ![]() |
