Basic Section Type The Basic Section Type is the most flexible section type for information that doesn't fit neatly into one of the other types. It is a good section for content that is not likely to change frequently. To create a Basic Section enter admin for your school site (http://yourschool.spps.org/admin) by entering your username and password. STEP 1 Click on the section under which the new section will appear. Click on Add a Child Section. Enter a Title for the new section. Select the Basic radio button. Click on  STEP 2 Click on for the new section title.  STEP 3 Fill in Title and Introduction  STEP 4 Click if desired. When using Preview interactive functions (e.g. using links) can not be activated. Click on Return to Edit Mode (upper left) to resume editing or to save.  STEP 5 Click on  STEP 6 Click on the red button for the Current Section. It will change to green, turning on the section so it can be viewed on the site.   |
